ThINQ is the blogger network of the Philippine Daily Inquirer which began publishing in 2016. To quote from the Inquirer, "ThINQ is the Inquirer's attempt to highlight in the public space the distinct viewpoints contributed by bloggers covering a wide range of topics and issues."

On May 26, 2017, after a careful review by the editors of Inquirer.net, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was sent to the author of this history blog, the Filipino Historian. Three days later, on May 29, 2017, he signed the MOU. The signing signifies that the blog formally becomes a member of ThINQ. This recognition by one of the nation's leading newspapers is appreciated as a welcoming gesture to the works done by the Filipino Historian in the past years. The readers can expect continued commitment in bringing history to the Philippines and the world.
