Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ), also known as Code Geass, was first aired in Japan on October 5, 2006. This page was created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Code Geass since the anime series was first aired in 2016. The original series ended on July 28, 2007, and was thereafter aired in the Philippines in November 10, 2008. Despite having poor ratings on its first run mainly due to the competition during its primetime slot (around 3% as of 2009), it was once more aired in the Philippines in 2010 with replays during weekends. Besides having an alternate history, drama and mecha genre, Code Geass features an extreme resolution to the problems of the world as a whole with the main protagonist, Lelouch, being able to give it a shot with his alter ego Zero. As part of this commemorative page, this history blog will feature some of the songs of Code Geass that once graced television screens with lyrics in Baybayin, the ancient Filipino script. It is fervently hoped that readers will appreciate this commemorative page.
