Keroro Gunsou (ケロロ軍曹), also known as Sergeant Frog in North America and Sergeant Keroro in Southeast Asia, was first aired in Japan on April 3, 2004 and the original series ended on April 3, 2011. The original series had a total of seven seasons. A second series was aired in 2014. A total of five films were made, all entitled the "Super Movie" (超劇場版). The first of the films hit theaters in 2006, and the last film so far premiered in 2014. This page was created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Keroro Gunsou since the manga was published (2019) and the 15th anniversary since the anime series was first aired (2019 also). Meanwhile, the anime series was first aired in the Philippines in 2007. While having an action, comedy, and science fiction genres, the plot centers around Sergeant Keroro of the 58th Planet of the Gamma Planetary System (Keron), who leads a platoon of Keronian soldiers to invade Earth (Pekopon).
